Pain Management - Professionals

The Community Principles of Pain Management was developed in collaboration with the Community Principles of Pain Management Specialty Advisory Groups 2002 and 2004.

Community outcome measures included reduction in the utilization of meperidine and propoxyphene and appropriate utilization of opioids and acetaminophen combination analgesics.

Guideline & Professional Tools

As part of the project, professional tools were developed. Print the guideline and/or individual “tools”.  Approved by:  Quality Management Committee (QMC) - Approved Sept. 12, 2008.  Next revision Sept. 2010.  Pediatric tools are currently under separate review.
